All manuscripts submitted to Lex Muamalat are subject to originality and similarity screening before entering peer review. This policy is intended to prevent plagiarism, duplicate publication, redundant publication, and improper citation practices.

Screening Procedure
  • The editorial team checks manuscript originality using available similarity detection tools.
  • Similarity results are evaluated by considering quotations, references, legal terms, and standard expressions.
  • Manuscripts with problematic similarity may be returned for revision or rejected before peer review.
Author Obligation

Authors must ensure that submitted manuscripts are original, unpublished, properly cited, and not under consideration by another journal.
